A Break in the Case // Emmett Bryant

Without mentioning anything specific, I think a lot of us have our eyes on a specific court case that will be coming to a close within the next few days. One of the key aspects of any court case though is evidence. Sometimes it is little pieces of evidence that add up to incriminate someone and then sometimes the evidence is an absolute blow out and there is no doubt in the jury's mind who is to blame. When the Jarndyce will came onto the scene, I swear that's what it made me think of. My hopes soared because I was thinking to myself that there might finally be a "break in the case" and those involved in the Jarndyce case would come to a decision. I know in one of my earlier blog posts I complained about the fog that has been ever present in Bleak House but I am finally getting the serotonin boost I needed. I'm finally getting to see a break through in the story. If I'm being honest I have found this story to be very boring (I know, an unpopular opinion), but getting to see this will produced has really caused me to become more interested.

I commented on Taylor Vice's post and on Braylan's post.

  1. I wouldn’t say I found this book boring, but it wasn’t the most interesting book I’ve ever read. Honestly, I just thought it was long. I also felt like the fog in the story was finally breaking up, which is great because I’m pretty sure I’ve fallen asleep while reading because of the very long descriptions.
